Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all domestic and international orders placed with FarmSiddhi. It covers dispatch timelines, freight terms, documentation, and buyer obligations.
Domestic Shipping (Within India)
Carriers: DTDC, Delhivery, Blue Dart, FedEx India, and FarmSiddhi's own fleet for bulk orders
Order Processing: Orders confirmed before 12:00 PM IST are processed the same day; thereafter next business day
Standard Delivery: 3–7 business days for metro cities; 5–10 business days for Tier 2/3 locations
Bulk / B2B Orders: Dispatched within 5–7 business days via reefer vehicle; timeline confirmed at order stage
Tracking: Tracking link and AWB number sent via email and WhatsApp within 24 hours of dispatch
Free Shipping: Free standard shipping on domestic orders above INR 5,000
Shipping Charges: For orders below INR 5,000, shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination
International Export Shipping
Freight Terms
FarmSiddhi ships international consignments under the following INCOTERMS 2020 basis:
- FOB (Free on Board) — Standard for most export orders. FarmSiddhi is responsible until the goods are loaded aboard the vessel at the nominated Indian port. Buyer arranges freight and insurance from port of origin.
- CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) — FarmSiddhi arranges and pays for sea freight and marine insurance to the destination port.
- CFR (Cost and Freight) — FarmSiddhi arranges freight to destination port; buyer arranges insurance.
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — Available for select destinations. FarmSiddhi manages end-to-end delivery including import duties. Pricing discussed separately.
Export Ports
- JNPT (Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Navi Mumbai) — Primary port for containerised sea freight
- Chennai Port — Alternative for South India origins
- Delhi Air Cargo Terminal (IGI) — For air freight consignments
- Other ports available on request based on cargo origin
Lead Times for Export
Standard Sea Freight: 14–21 business days from order confirmation to vessel departure (ETD)
Airfreight: 5–10 business days from order confirmation to dispatch
Custom Packaging: Additional 5–7 business days for private-label or non-standard packaging
Transit Time (Sea): 15–45 days depending on destination port (buyer to check with their freight forwarder)
Transit Time (Air): 3–10 days depending on destination
Export Documentation
FarmSiddhi provides a complete export documentation package with every international shipment, including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading (BL) or Airway Bill (AWB)
- Certificate of Origin (CoO) — APEDA / Chamber of Commerce
- Phytosanitary Certificate — issued by NPPO India
- Certificate of Analysis (CoA) — NABL-accredited lab report
- FSSAI Export NOC / Health Certificate (where required)
- Fumigation Certificate (where required by importing country)
- Insurance Certificate (for CIF shipments)
All documents are shared digitally within 24 hours of vessel departure. Hard copies are couriered via DHL or FedEx within 48–72 hours.
Cold Chain Integrity
For temperature-sensitive products (fresh produce, certain processed items), FarmSiddhi maintains a continuous cold chain:
- Pre-cooling at farm collection hubs (0–4°C for fresh; 2–6°C for processing)
- Reefer (refrigerated) truck transport to port
- Reefer container booking for sea freight (temperature set as per product specification)
- Cold room storage at port if required due to vessel schedule changes
Any cold chain breach during transit that is documented and attributable to FarmSiddhi's logistics arrangements will be treated as a valid quality claim under the Refund Policy.
Customs & Import Duties
For FOB, CFR, and CIF shipments, the Buyer is responsible for:
- Payment of all import duties, taxes, and levies applicable in the destination country
- Obtaining import permits, licences, or regulatory approvals required for agricultural imports in their country
- Providing accurate import details (IEC number, importer registration) for documentation
FarmSiddhi provides all export documents to facilitate smooth customs clearance at the buyer's end but is not responsible for delays caused by destination country customs processes, regulatory holds, or buyer-side documentation failures.
Shipment Tracking
Domestic Orders: AWB / tracking number shared within 24 hours of dispatch via email and WhatsApp
Export Orders: Buyer Dashboard access provided with real-time container tracking, ETD, ETA, and document upload
Delay Notifications: FarmSiddhi proactively notifies buyers of any delay of more than 48 hours from the agreed ETD

Damaged or Lost Consignments
- Damage or loss during transit by FarmSiddhi's nominated logistics partner (for CIF/DDP orders) is covered under FarmSiddhi's marine insurance. Buyer must file notice of damage with surveyor within 3 days of delivery.
- For FOB orders, buyer's freight forwarder and insurer are responsible once goods are loaded on vessel.
- FarmSiddhi will cooperate fully in insurance claims by providing all necessary export documentation and correspondence.
Packaging Standards
- All products are packed in food-grade, export-standard packaging as per international norms
- Tamper-evident seals and lot-level QR traceability codes on every carton
- Net weight, gross weight, product description, and origin labelled on all outer cartons
- Destination-market labelling requirements (EU, FDA, GCC) applied where specified
